IS THE COLLECTION TRANSFORMING?
Toypixx focuses on 1/12-scale photogenic figures. But yours truly does dig Transformers MDLX figures. And now, the Age of the Primes has me curious.
With the upcoming office space, I'm thinking about what I can do with it, and think a lot of it's gonna have to do with dios and other figure photog things. But a crew that's woefully underrepresented in dios is the Transformers. And somehow, the Age of the Primes has my imagination going wild with ideas.
Still, that's right now. Who knows what I'll be thinking about when I'm actually moved in?
Figures. I'll be thinking about figures.
PICTURE-PERFECT PREORDERS
For the first time in forever, I'm safe from the wrath of Mr. Stabby (the wallet), as I don't "need" any of the past week's preorders for the collection. But that's not to say they're not pretty cool, anyway.
I especially dig the Interstellar Traveler and Chest Monster, and for completely different aesthetic reasons. The Chest Monster just looks like a crazy blast, but how often do we get a regular astronaut? The Ceratopsidae Dinosaur Legion stuff looks great, but without a true triceratops, I have the sadness (though the styracosaurus looks pretty awesome).
Still, just because this stuff's not really for me, doesn't mean it's not for you.

Anywho, there was a galaxy background you can use for your action figures and their space battles. Tuesday had a nice, chill *heh heh* snowfall effect, while Wednesday was all about a dark city background (Gotham vibes, baby). Finally, Thursday was all about a fiery laser effect. Because fire and lasers are BOTH cool, so why not combine 'em?

Monday was, as usual, all about photogenic figures that went up for preorder the previous week. I'm digging Leatherhead, Vampirella would be mine with a ball-peg waist, and yours truly's actually excited for Age of the Primes! Did everyone try to talk me out of that? Hmmm...
Thursday brought about a chill chat, as we discussed what we dug in 2024, what we're looking forward to in 2025, and things we'd love to see some figure companies announce.
