DO I NEED A BIG@$$ DRAGON?

I don't have any Mythic Legions action figures. In fact, I don't think I have anything The Four Horsemen worked on.

So why do I keep thinking about this thing?

When I first saw it, yours truly was blown away. And honestly, seeing how well it was sculpted, I started thinking about the lighting setups that could show off all those scales. Then I started looking at reviews of the Valiant Knight and Skeleton 2.0.

The thing that kept me safe from Mr. Stabby (the wallet) when it came to Mythic Legions was the articulation. Now it's improving. And with the latest preorder wave, they're adding butterfly joints and double knees and elbows. Combine that with all the incredible accessories, sculpts, and paint work, and how could I NOT wanna add these to a collection focused *heh heh* on action figure photography?

Which takes me back to that glorious dragon.

Yeah. Beyithirr's pricy. If you're in the U.S. (with taxes and shipping), it'll run ya around $1,000 if ya go all in. And if you're not in the U.S., I don't envy you that dragon-sized bill. But what's scarier is what knowing this thing'll likely exist means, long-term, to yours truly's wallet.

I've already decided I'm in on some Legions. But getting The Pillar of the West (one of Beyithirr's nicknames) means I'll need the other four pillars, because yours truly's sick in the head. And if each one's $1,000 (or more), I may have to get six large cardboard boxes for the five pillars and myself to live in.

Hoo boy. Who else hates a good slippery slope?

MY FIRST CONVENTION IN WELL OVER A DECADE?

While watching Brick Something's latest YouTube video, with Jeremy Girard of The Four Horsemen, I found out there's a convention about two hours away! And it's happening this coming weekend! And it's been so long since I've gone to a convention!

Loud noises!

Anywho, the point is, I'm gonna heading to MuskeCon this Saturday. So if you're there and see yours truly, say hi! We can share in our collective fright as we await the pain that comes from Mr. Stabby's mighty blade.

AND WITH THAT...

It's time to go! But hey, don't forget to join us tomorrow night, at 7:00 PM EST, for a St. Patrick's Day Toy Talk. We'll discuss all the above, as well as the photogenic figures that've recently gone up for preorder, news, and the year I dressed up as a leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day.

Have fun, and happy snapping!

Marvel Legends (and Toy Biz's Spider-Man Classics before it) were the main gateways to everything you've seen me do as far as videos, livestreams, and photos. So it's weird to think I may never get another one. But after showcasing their brand-new Maximum Spider-Man, I realized the one thing I want them to do (make a ball-peg waist...

Of course, that was a couple centuries before the internet. Though it was also around 1,000 years after coffee was discovered. Lucky guy. These days, as with pretty much all human history, many have opinions on things they're woefully ignorant of. The internet amplifies said ignorance. And in toy collecting, pricing seems to be the...
