ONLY FIVE DAYS TO GO IN THIS MONTH'S CONTESTS !
Not much of an intro here, just a reminder that this month's photo contests are almost over! And caffeine's tasty.
To see the complete details, including voting rules, visit the Toypixx website.
Rules
- One image submission per contest. If you enter both contests. You may use the same image, or two different ones.
- No nudity. I want to show the submissions off and I don’t want any social media flagging the contest.
- Must be 18 or older.
Submissions
Entries are due at 11:59 PM PST on October 25th, voting ends on October 29th, and the winners will be announced on the October 30th livestream!
Send your submissions to toypixx@gmail.com, and let me know which contest(s) the pic(s) is (or are) for. Also include your social media accounts so I can send people your way.
Prizes
This month's prizes are pretty rad! First, the Patreon contest winner will receive the Jada Toys SDCC exclusive Violent Ken, and the YouTube winner will receive a GI Joe Classified Retro Cobra Commander (I have him, he's rad)!
Good luck to everyone who enters!
PICTURE-PERFECT PREORDERS
Things are finally picking up in the action-figure game!
The big news of the week is the 6-inch scale HasLab Ectomobile! And I have to say, it looks incredible. And while people will always wonder about the HasLab pricing, you can't say the execution's bad. Click here for all the details.
The Sentinel's also mighty rad.
Aside from those, the reissue of Scorponok was a great surprise, the Robotech Cyclone set's crazy cool, and Agent Carter's a secret-agent monkey!
And monkeys are always funny.
NOTE: Entertainment Earth, eBay, and HobbyLink Japan links are affiliate links, which means I get a cut of the sale at no extra cost to you
THIS WEEK'S PATREON FREEBIES!
As per the usual this October, the week's Patreon freebies carry on with a spooky-season theme.
The wallpapers are, first, a fall sidewalk to allow your spooky characters to sneak around the corner. And the second one's a graveyard, which feels a wee bit Halloween-ish. Then there are the blood-splatter effects because blood-splatter effects. Also, just because I thought I'd try something a little bit different, there are some Halloween effects you can print on clear sticker paper for some family fun.
And, of course, the weekly hi-res image and Photoshop files for ya to have.
So, if ya any of 'em, go get 'em!
THIS WEEK'S VIDEOS
As always, I had a blast on this week's livestreams!
Monday's livestream was the basic photogenic figures chat, where we talked MOTU Masterverse, Transformers Crossovers, and more.
And on Thursday, we chatted what had been shown off at NYCC up to that point. And I used Preternia's X account for the whole thing, so be sure to give him a follow on the ol' former Twitter.
Anywho, if you wanna check 'em out, click the replays!
AND WITH THAT
This past week was a chill one. I wasn't on social media nearly as much as I've been, but will get back to it this week. And I got some great Toypixx news, so stay tuned for that in the coming months.
But don't worry, I'll still be drinking my caffeinated beverages. If for no other reason than I need a through line for these newsletters.
Have fun, and happy snapping!
